NOTES: This performance was very special for a number of reasons. First, THE APOSTLE had planned on doing a cover of Jimi Hendrix's version of "The Star Spangled Banner" as a 9/11/01 Tribute. However, Reynaldo's sister Debbie had died from cancer the pervious Saturday, and this was the day of her funeral. Instead of The Star Spangled Banner, the CHURCH elected to open with the instrumental "PARADISE AWAITS", a song Reynaldo wrote for his sister's funeral. This was also the first appearance of THE APOSTLE, and the first time The Church used thier trademark Red Candles around the stage.

TRIVIA: Reynaldo's brother, The Reverend Jose Alvarado (Musician J Rhythm) was in attendance, and joined the band briefly on stage before 'Paradise Awaits'.
